Alvie,
If the inverter is working I would not replace it. Check out "Hot Deals" from Progressive Dynamics. http://www.progressivedyn.com/hotdeals.html Unit PD9280R is an 80 amp converter/charger and costs $213.00. The hot deals are reconditioned units. Actually I think they are new. I bought two of their reconditioned units a couple years ago to replace the two original battery boilers. They are still doing their job today. Progressive has a good reputation in the industry.
