Tire age vs wear

I paid $375.00 each for my Sumitomo ST 727 12Rx22.5. I haven't seen anything for
less that I would buy.

I am looking at tires: Yokahoma RY617 and Mich. XZ1 which are steer
tires and I am planning on using them as all position. I am getting
prices in the area of $375 to $400 out the door a tire. This sound
about right? I have some wheel issues to sort out but I am going to
move forward on this.
