Makes me wonder what the heck is going on with BB?? Some
things they go overboard on and
then skimp on the rest.... At the factory, I saw the linear bearing
system that they were using on the
slides....and it looked as if a class B machinist apprentice had
designed and built the thing...all done
so they didn't have to use a tried and true HWH system. Maybe there
are better systems, I'm just not
familiar with them...I think it all comes down to the old NIH
syndrome... That's Not Invented Here...
Rather than use tested parts and systems, they'd rather use a design
that has never been beta tested,
ran through a reliability test regime, or given to an outside
mechanical design group to be critiqued.

Now I'm really going to stir the pot.....having gone through the
factory at Bluebird and Country Coach,
personally, I think the chassis and frame on the CC is better and
more stringently built. FLAME AWAY

Randy, er, I mean randy,:-)

I agree too, BB never should have called that M450
coach an "LXi". It does have many nice features but the cheap parts
and
fit and finish that are no where close to the other Birds did bring
the
price down at great expense in quality. Just my opinion.
