86 PT40 turning radius?
We went out to an empty dirt lot (so we'd leave nice easy to measure tire
tracks). It's 85 feet full diameter, outside wheel to outside wheel, fully
locked. Bigger than you'd expect. I'll be interested to see if anyone comes up
with a different number - that seemed bigger than I expected.

In advance of eventually building a nice new pad and ramp to it on the property,
we now have our bird's front end perched on two home built ramps 18" up on one
side and 16" on the other. I'll post a pic to the group when I get a chance...

Hope everyone had fun in Georgia!

Hi Greg,

While I have never "measured" the radius with a tape, I usually
need 4 lanes and a wide berm to turn mine around. Assuming 12' lane
widths (and I am occupying one) that would put the outer radius of my
turning circle at around 60 feet, assuming that the wheels are turned
before starting into the turnabout. Now that you have brought it up,
I'll probably go to the nearest empty lot and find out! If you do the
same, please share it with us.

Looked in the Blue Book and could not locate the info, and did a forum
search and also came up blank. We have to grade a ramp and a pad for
our bird and it would be helpful to know the geometry...
