While I was talking the previous owner I asked him why a stud was
placed up on the roof and he told me the original owner had a spare
tire secured with that stud. He also mentioned that he used a fork
lift to get that tire and rim down oft the coach. I would think
nowadays that most anywhere you go in the United States that you
could buy a tire for one of our rigs or at least order one up.

And I don't know what kind of UV protection you would haft to have
on your spare tire but it seems to me that that a spare tire would be
cooking up on the roof if it was down in Arizona. Jon
