1st trip "the shake-down cruise"
Well, we just returned from our first 660 mile trip in a 81fc. At the
top of the Snoqualmie pass the bird sounded the water temp. alarm. We
pulled into the gas station and cooled the radiator with water for
probably 20 minutes. When it was safe to open the cap we added approx.3
to 5 gallons water. Please note that the radiator was flushed and new
anti-freeze added before departure. I think there was an air lock or
something in the system.

When we arrived at Pullman and set up camp the lights to the bathroom
and the forward flouresent lights went out. The breaker reset would not
restore them. The gen set needed a jump to start. Should the battery
switch to the house batteries be able to start the gen?
Anyway on the return trip home the voltage indicator would bounce
between 14 volts and 12 volts finally staying at 12 volts and dropping.
Crossing the pass again I was concerned about the water temp. but it
never reached higher than 180 degrees. When we arrived at home we had
less than 11 volts and everything was dim.

The following day I charged the batteries and started the bird. The
voltage regulator again bounced between 14 and 12 volts finally
settling on 12. I checked all of the connections and they are tight.
The bus has been equiped with an Ample Power battery monitering device
and a Next Step voltage regultor. I checked all the inline fuses to
that system and they are good.

Where is the breaker to the bathroom lights located?
