King Pin Lube Spec
Cynic that I am I submit a lawsuit resulted in the reversal of technique.
Somebody dropped something, and it wasn't good. The two pages have been loaded to a file for review. It seems to contradict what was frequently discussed on the old forum and accepted as fact; namely that you are supposed to lube the king pins with the wheels off the ground. This documentation clearly says not to raise the wheels off the ground. Has there been an update bulletin from Rockwell since 1983 reversing the procedure? Very interesting.
