There's nearly a foot of snow on the ground here in Golden, but the
forecast for the next several days is for highs in the low to mid
40s. That means the pavement is mostly clear and dry -- a big plus
since we're going to try and leave on Tuesday to head south.

I've now resolved that I _never_ want to live where it snows regularly.
