Starting a 3208 in cold weather...
Andy, The 3208 starts really easily most of the time. No glow plugs, even. But
to save your batteries, use block heat and start on AC or run your generator to
give your starter and batteries a boost. Now the DD8V92 is an engine that does
NOT like to get up on a cold morning. My block heater went out in Santa Fe and
I didn't think I'd ever get it to start. Brad Barton

Andy- at the co-pilot's seat, there is a red switch. That is your block heater-
unless those guys in Reno confiscated that. When I had my FC that is all I
needed. I use that on my PT, also. Starts on the first lick. Ernie
