Another compressor problem
John, I believe that the 77 vintage birds did not have an air dryer. They
started incorporating them in the early 80s models. You should have a spitter assembly attached to the bottom of your primary air tank. It spits air and oil from it on a low volume basis. Sometimes makes a mess. You also should have a valve at the bottom of all three air tanks that should be opened occasionally to drain any moisture and oil that accumulates in the tanks.(Also making a mess).
