Inverter Thoughts - (was BOW)
Another repost to get the subject going on inverters....hopefully
this is helpful

Mike,

Interesting thought. Did you try to re-arrange any of the loads
to "restrict" what can run off the inverter?

I was thinking about putting in a sub-panel so I don't have to worry
about the kids turning things on that would not be desirabe for an
inverter (heater or A/C). I can see when I'm not around and they
react, flip a switch...yes it is working so it must be ok....not good
for my crew. Using a sub-panel would make it kid proof.

So far, I'm thinking about the Microwave, receptacles in the Kitchen,
dining, bedroom, and front, and the icemaker.

My readi-line is still working for the Kitchen and ice-maker. But, I
do not like the battery chargers and the limited inverter outlets.
Did you install into the redi-line / charger compartment? Have you
had a problem in wet weather?

Thanks,

what I did, simple and works real well. You never use those any way.
