Help with Air Throttle
Vroom, Vroom, What a Happy Sound.

Late model FC's and many 6V's and 8V's have the Bendix Cruise
Control, which also incorporated the air treadle foot throttle.

There are ten valves, these include: inversion valves,
reducing valves, check valves, double check valves and solenoid
metered orifice valve switches. .
The electronic module gets input from the ignition, air brakes,
park brake, speed sensor, cruise, resume and set controls.
The reason for the above description, is the fact that the Bendix
is no longer supported, and it is a very complex system.

If an owner has trouble or problem , I would suggest evaluating
a complete updated replacement unit,
Although the Bendix is a very reliable system, information
to repair and trouble-shoot is rare and hard to find. The wiring
and the numerous copper tubing lines are very difficult to trace.
Parts are not in stock and difficult to locate.

Fortunately, I was successful in repairing our no foot throttle
acceleration problem, But many phone calls and trouble shooting
hours were needed. Our problem was a 12V solenoid that controls
air pressure flow.
