Mounting things to the ceiling
I have a carbon monoxide sensor I want to mount to the ceiling in the
bedroom. What is the recommended procedure? Can I put a couple of screws into the ceiling without penetrating the roof? Should I use double sided sticky tape instead? I have the soft, vinyl ceiling and am really hesitant to put screws through it, especially as these sensors need to be replaced every 7 years and who knows if the new one will have the same mounting pattern. -Ryan |
