Sucking Air
Maybe the pickup in the tank has a pin hole above the low fuel level
and the new full fuel level and both filters get air but the detroit filter gets filled up quick when started because the injector cooler path purges that filter from being air locked?????? an elevation issue with the filters should not matter. the only pressure thing would be the static 1 psi per foot floating the check valve open on the Wabasto path???????? If that check valve is spring loaded it should not matter if the check valve is a heavy ball only, it should stand up vertical. I worked on Pick place for one of your old neighbors yesterday and today. moved 1,200 yards on a 3/4 acre slope. I was going to look for your old house on W.spur to see if it was the one I looked at in '90 but didnt know if I could turn my rig at the deadend?
