milage

Hi Dave. I assume you have verified the accuracy of your miles traveled? I know my odometer/speedometer was 10% 'happy' in my 83 FC as produced. The upgrade to 44" 24.5 tires corrected the discrepancy. It seems that the owners of the older lighter FCs with the NA 3208 claim higher mileage compared to the other Wanderlodge variants. Personally I haven't seen better than 7 mpg @ 55 mph pulling a light toad, but my engine only has 10k miles. I hope it gets better with age.

I also agree.. my 80FC will get 9 plus miles per gal doing 67 mph. With a full laod af fuel/100gal water and everything I else I might have on board. And this is not just going down hill this is an average. Some might argue this but if your foot is not to the floor economy can be achieved.
