Indeed, there's a '93 PT-40 on Vintage Birds (with All Birch Cabinets) that was being offered at $159,000 before I purchased my '95 (for $40,000 less) nearly 2 years ago. I see that it's now "reduced" to $109,000 but I suspect that price is still on the high side.

They are not selling. But I bet if the prices dropped these babies would indeed sell. If I were 

selling my Bird I would try and price it to sell. That would probably mean I would take a big 

loss. But what other choice is there? You either want to sell or decide to keep it. Advertising 

at a high price simply scares a way potential buyers. BB's are not OJ futures that may recover 

their value. It will only get worse.
