David, you are correct, it is in the 3rd bay. The owner I talked with indicated it was quieter inside in the new location. That would put the weight right at the center of the wheelbase distributing the generator's weight evenly between the steer and drive axles. Afterthat conversation, and an additional conversation with Macy, I decided to go ahead. The work is being done on the factory line and not in the service shop. From the pictures the work looked first class. Don't know if this answers your question, but I now feel comfortable with the change. Valley just prior to Maxton. They were in the middle of one genset move to the left rear bay, in front of the drive axle. Alan Barbee said that the genset would only be moved if the unit was overweight after all other remedies were tried first.
