Front Wheel Bearings
the wheel will be hot after running all day and then stopping,the brakes make
loads of heat.but,it steamed?thats hot! randydupree93wb

I'll look closer but with these new hubs, there is an obvious fill line on
the clear cover. Another thing I didn't mention was while I was hosing down
the bus, when I hit the wheel with water it turned to steam (the water not
the wheel (had to throw that one in!)). The wheel, not the tire, was hot. I
made an appointment to get it checked in the morning. Thanks for the advice

No it is not normal, you have a leak.

The brakes might be contaminated with oil also, if there is oil
coming out of the drum you have a problem with the brakes.

Be sure you don't overheat brakes if oily, could cause a fire.

The hubs are filled with gear oil to the OUTER ring on the face, not
the inner, be sure you're looking at the correct level mark. At this
circle the hub looks like it's about empty.
