SP36 front heaters

The only way I can avoid being roasted in the cockpit during the summer
is to turn off the valve near the engine that controls coolant
flow to the front heaters. Are the heaters controlled by
Sporlan valves and if so, where are they located and what kind of
a job is it to replace them?
