you may want to go to a truck shop and have a complete go over on
your air brakes . The inspection is called a DOT check up. cost about
$75.00 in California. The questions you ask are good but the questions
you may not be asking can cause some damage. They can teach you a bit
if you study one of the many air brake diagrams of previous posts and
familiarize yourself with the appliances and functions prior to a
scheduled DOT visit.
