FMCA Ad: 10mpg on PT
I don't have a PT, I have a 77FC35, but I am managing 9 to 11 mpg on a regular basis,
depending on how leaden my foot is and how hilly the terrain. My most recent run
came in at 9.1, but it was very hilly terrain, We spent a lot of time at 72+ mph on the flat parts (really!),

and there was about 6 hours of idling while we made various stops because I'm having an electrical
problem that is making starting a PITA Smile

I was quickly perusing the BB ads in my new issue of the FMCA magazine

this morning and noticed one dealer ad proclaiming 10mpg on I think it

was an 86 PT36 w/6V92. I chuckled and moved on quickly. My old 83

PT40 with 6V92 never approached that magic number. Has anyone else's

ever reached that lofty mpg figure on a PT? My 91 8V for sure isn't

in that world! LOL
