Roof Storage Pods

Bill I seem to remember someone putting pods on their roof using the raised
walkways. If if you have room and the raised walkway(s) on your roof
couldn't you attach the pod directly to the walkway on one side or the
other instead of putting holes directly into the roof. If you wanted the
pod centered maybe you could use some bridging material from the walkway on
one side to the walkway on the other and attach the pod to the bridging.
Just some thoughts.
