Bus won't start
Speaking from experience, Check and then add an additional ground wire from batteries to frame.
Letting these jewels set is about the worst thing you can do. At least with a fire you can turn it into the insurance and then forget it.
(Been there, done that)
My Sequence of events since pickup
1: Bad Ground
2: Bad Batteries
3: Failed ignition switch
4: Approx 300 Gals bad fuel (yes there is a shelf life on Diesel and additives will not bring it back)
Pumping that bad fuel through the system does things to filters, pumps, and lines that give Bankers nightmares. Especially when the value of these shiny toys is going in the garbage.
Have fun with it and if the challenge is too much, divest.
I'm open to offers.
Am considering renting as a 2 bedroom apartment for itinerants, but rather trade for a trailer or toyhauler or something. I have the BB equivalent of a boat to go with it
