Cost of BirdBirds and Fuel
I was tired of the old thread, maybe we need to change the topic??...
I think "Chicken Little" has arrived on the Motorhome market. No question sellers on the fringe of selling or changing their life style have hastened their plans & have decided to sell, and their timing is really terrible. I think BB's are selling, but the inventory is growing faster than the demand, thus a buyers market. A higher supply, Same as a home/house. But, if you are into traveling in a Motorhome, There is no better solution than a used BlueBird. Actually it is still a real bargain. Where else can you receive factory tech support and drawings e-faxed the same day for your 20/30 year old Motorhome For the many reasons, we all decided, to arrive at a decision to purchase a Bird, Those reasons are still valid, even more so now in this economy, with rising costs of motels, restaurants, airfare etc. We feel every day, we travel in the Bird, we save money. If you made a trip and used 500 gallons of fuel last year , It will only cost just over $500 more to make this same trip today. So if you can just eek out 20% increase in fuel, all other costs are about the same. We will continue to travel, "NOW" , it will not be less expensive next year. The "Good Old Days" are Today.
