Wireless rear cameras?

My 79 33' didn't have a factory camera installed so it didn't have the window or the recessed place to install one. If you mount a camera with night vision inside it will not work as good if mounted on the outside. That is what I have been told.

Any thoughts on this project would be nice. I haven't looked at it

yet, but I presume I could just replace the little camera window and

mount a good camera behind it and be pretty well set. Though, it seems

like others are not retaining the inside-camera idea and I'm wondering

why?
