Xantrex and cable sizes

115ft to the Xantrex from the batteries sounds like a crazy installation to
me. I spent my life in the
welding supply business and worked on big welders (low voltage, high amp,
DC) and I think you will find
MCM cable hard to find but 4/0 welding cable should be readily available and
off the shelf connectors to attach two cables to one lug are available if
wanted. You can "stack" them to get the capacity you need.
If available always pay more for 34awg stranded cable (instead of standard
30awg), the extra flexibility
can really help.
