ULSD Fuel additives

I have 3 different types of fuel lines. one of them, an old ruber
one simply swelled up and started spraying fuel after about 2 months
the signs were obviouse, A cloth covered line seams to get harder
over time faster then normal, the last line has 3 diferent plastics
it is composed of and it is doing well.
