HELP - 8V92 will not start
Is it blowing white smoke when it runs indicating unburned fuel? Possible fuel starvation. If it starts it should run if it has fuel unless something shuts the fuel down.

What plug other than the 12 pin DDL did you use>>?? On my DDEC II there are 7 pins used on the DDL. Or was it something you plugged into your laptop?? Is it a DDEC II or III??
Did you connect the VMSpc to the 12 pin Allison tranny plug initally which may have 4 pins used if it is a HT755CR ATEC 5 speed tranny?

I may be running off at the mouth here but something ain't right. Just ideas coming out of my noodle. It may be fuel starvation. Who knows.
I say give the wife a wet noodle to beat you with. Really it is not your fault.

Mike & Leroy

I disconnected all ground and power wires and cleaned the connections.

No effect.

The engine runs for 10 -15 -20 seconds after the key is released.

But runs about 500 RPM then dies. Accelerator had no effect during

the short run time.
