Which batteries to buy?
Don't waste your money on good batteries if you have the original B
Bird battery chargers. You will just cook and kill them in a little over a year's time. (been there, done that). The extra money would be better spent on getting a new 3-stage charger like a Xantrex Truecharge 40+, and just get Sam's club 6V golf cart batteries. Mine have lasted over 2 years and never boiled, corroded or showed any signs of overcharging with the new Xantrex.
