It's only 30 years old!

Stopped by our local Bluebird distributor here in Phoenix to pick up a
new Tach for my dash. They informed me the tach was no longer
available for a 1978 Bluebird. I asked when they stopped using this
tach and he said in the late 80's. So that's only 20 years old. You'd
think if they're going to build a bus to last over 50 years they'd
think about supporting them for more than 20? Bet I could get a dash
part for my 20 year old car??? So what do you do now, After market?
