I got a replacement at an electric motor specialty house (located in Oakland, CA). I can probably find the receipt with the name, if you want, but there's closer (and probably cheaper) alternatives. Perhaps Tom McCarthy will check in as he got a replacement fan in Southern California.
Just check your yellow pages under "electric motors" and you'll probably find a place that can get you a near-exact match. There's been a lot of changes in the electric motor business with companies being bought and sold, merging, etc. So it's sometimes a little tricky finding the exact duplicates -- but they're out there.

Has anyone replaced and where did they find the motor.  Mine has a part number of 5KCP39KG3186S and on grainger there is one that is close, but does not have the same mounting.
