Wild Generator Oil Pressure
Hi Gus -
The oil pressure guage is surely electric. The genset engine controls would also be electric and possibly electronic. Now, you also mention the battery is low or dead. Your electric guages and engine controls will certainly be erratic if the voltage is wrong. Try charging (and doing whatever is needed to KEEP a charge) and then see how everything works.
