HWH jack wont extend, 94pt
Greg Yes the switch is in the generator bay.
1993 PT-40 From: Steve and Gardner, thanks both good info to add. I got a call from with the fix (RobR 93pt)It seems as the jolt was enough to knock a poor ground wire loose on the jack. I reached ontop of the jack and fiddled with the 3 wires and the jack extended with the next attempt. As per post I set the tires down with a ton or two to keep it from rolling. my bus is in gravel so I can steam the engine while the radiator is out and I fear a chock will just skid. On the PT the tag has no park brakes. when you think about it if the drive axle bags bleed out, the bus would take off rolling on the steer and tag!!!!!!! Steve is that brake switch in the the generator radiator Bay? It is located in the generator compartment high to the left with either a green or green / white wire to both sides (this is from memory, an almost 60 yr old memory). > > Try to jump the switch and see if it works. > > > > 1993 PT-40 > > > > ----- Original Message ---- > From: Gregory OConnor > To: "WanderlodgeForum%40yahoogroups.com" > Sent: Tuesday, August 5, 2008 8:06:15 PM > Subject: [WanderlodgeForum] HWH jack wont extend, 94pt > > > I was preping my bus for radiator removal/rodding and new compressor > cooling lines today and I jacked the jack.
