I try not to make it difficult. My BB manual has a specific red letter warning which calls for 10w30. It does not give me an option so that is what I use. That is not to say that others do not have other compatible oil options. Along with the three filters in the reservoir is a Parker filter in line on the street side of my coach that has a warning light on it up by the rear start switch which tells the owner if it is in bypass or plugged. That filter is about $100.

Actually, it is not different. 10w-30 motor oil is one

of the recommended fluids for the Ross.

The reservoir holds extra oil that constantly circulates

from the reservoir to the hydraulic pump (power steering

pump), to the steering box, to your fan motor, and then

back to the reservoir.



There could be several oils that would work in your system.

What's important is that you know of a correct oil that

you can obtain and rely on.
