94pt shuts off in traffic

Just got back from a week trip that started out with frantic phone
calls to CurtS and RobR. Rob told me to check for voltage with
unique body parts but CurtS was helpful.

My bus would quit, standing me roadside in L.A. (SteveG,the LA above
sealevel) anything that was run with the ig key would go off and
with in 1 min it would come back. I did not have the electrical
prints so I was at a loss as to which breaker was tripping because
it would repair. I found out that the 75 amp relay number 36 was
that powered by the key so I switched the 75 amp #36 with 75 amp #37
(under front fiberglass pannel ;below windshield ;big black
relay ;center top ;only two there ;large wires).

One fear I had was with the tranny. it would repower in N if I am
rolling on the freeway at 45 mph when it repowered, and push D, what
gear does the allison choose??? therefor I would roll to a stop. and
set off again only to fail four more times in 30 miles. stopping to
chech for the obvious ground and wire fixes.

Soon I realized that the 75 amp ig relay was losing its signal from
the ig switch so I jumped the signal to the relay with a 12 volt hot
wire and a toggle. power up the relay with the toggle at the
cockpit and use the key switch to contact the starter. to shut
down, it was necesary to turn off the toggle and the key.

Now at home I have the prints in hand and can not find the
location or notation of the fuse to the ignition switch. I dont
think it is split at the rear but there may be some three way
situation with the remote start??????

I dont think it is the ig switch because it would repair like a fuse
circuit braker or heated relay. Are these ig switches internally
fused???? The 94ish ig switch is not like the older pt's that were
big amp switches. 94ish trip the 75 amp relay which power other
relays and fused components.
