Adding Satellite dish
Install XM radio...can also 'watch' 150 stations along with CNN.
Dick Gideon 89 35FC Rolla, MO --- In WanderlodgeForum@yahoogroups.com, "Don Bradner" > > It is a tough decision. The compromises with an in-motion unit are significant - they always work less-well than an open-face unit. Why? Because with satellite, dish size is important, and in-motion have the smallest dishes of them all. However, if reception while under- way is an important criteria the compromise may be worth it. > > For me, I decided 3 years ago, which was prior to my BB days, that I would not buy any more TV items for home or coach that was not HD- compatible. For DirecTV that would have ruled out in-motion as well, although it is at least technically possible to do in-motion TV with Dish network. > > For in-motion listening Sirius or XM does the job nicely. > > Don Bradner > 90 PT40 "Blue Thunder" > Motosat SL-5 HD and Sirius radio > Posting today by satellite from Lexington, VA > > > On 9/14/2008 at 9:36 PM P & D wrote: > > >I don't know that we will use it much, but we enjoy listening to cnn and > >when we take the grand kids it will be nice, but we figure for 400 more > >than > >a fixed unit it was worth the extra money. > > > > > > > >Paul > > > >87pt38 > > > >Hesperia ca > > > > > > > > _____ > > > >From: WanderlodgeForum@yahoogroups.com > >[mailto:WanderlodgeForum@yahoogroups.com] On Behalf Of Gregory OConnor > >Sent: Sunday, September 14, 2008 8:17 PM > >To: WanderlodgeForum@yahoogroups.com > >Subject: [WanderlodgeForum] Re: Adding Satellite dish > > > > > > > >Will you use an in motion?
