front air bags
Ed,
I think you are on target looking at the valve. From what I have read the control rod is not that hefty nor is the connection on the axel. It may be as simple as re-adjusting it and insuring it is not slipping. As always, be absolutly sure the coach is properly supported (Jack stands) before going under.
