Trailer Lighting
Pete,
Stop in Ashville NC, park the bus in a campground there. From there you can travel in the toad to Cherokee on the Blueridge. It is about a days drive over and back. You get a beautiful view both ways. October will be crowded but will be worth it. The next day travel the other way toward Boone. Be sure to stop there as it is a nice place. These two days will tire you out. Be sure to see the Biltmore mansion while at Ashville and see how the robber barons lived. Move over to Pigeon Forge Tn via I40. Lots of good campgrounds there that can handle the BB. From there you can tour the Smokey Mtn Park, Cades Cove, and of course Dollywood. Lots of good places to eat and plenty to entertain you. October is craft month and the area will be decorated in fall colors. These two stops can use up a week if you want. Most all will be free except for gasoline. Enjoy, Johnny M Slone Pikeville, Ky 98 LXI |
