Torque beam bushing, replacement
----------------------------------------------------------------------
---------- The torque beam rubber bushings on the Ridewell suspension on drivers side of my front axle need replacement. The Cat crankcase ventilation tube is poorly positioned and over the years oil from the vent tube has continuously saturated the rubber and recently I noticed two of the bushings (on lower beam) have splits and could fail. My question to the group is: 1. Who sells the bushing kits? 2. Should I also replace the rubber bushings on the right side? Who do I get to perform this heavy task? I'll see if I can get some photos this afternoon when sun angle is better. Thinking about replacing the 4 front air springs (bags) also to consolidate the labor costs. Please jump up with your opinions...I value all comments. __________________ Dick Gideon Freedom Bird 1989 35FCSB Rolla, MO |
