Break-in Recommendations

I just returned from a loop to Portland, OR and back to Dallas in my
'87 PT, which had ~300 miles on the rebuilt 8V engine when I got it
last June. I used 3 gallons of oil in 6500 miles, so I suggest you
carry some extra for the trip home with the new engine. That's about
2x the consumption of my '85 6V. Might also have extra coolant, just
in case.
