Generator tray re-model
I haven’t removed the Kohlar, but we do carry a Small (2800w) Honda. I first carried it because we get into some pretty cold weather dry camping and I was concerned about getting the diesels started in really cold weather. We have ended up using it other times to bring the batteries back up or for Kathy’s morning coffee when camping. It will run the microwave and water heater, or two of the block heaters, or one ac unit. I have a 7500w unit that I use when I have the Kohlar out. It will run everything. - Chuck Wheeler-

I'm figuring a 3kw generator, 5-600aH battery bank, appropriate converter/charger and solar panels would be really user friendly. Has anyone done this or something similar? Are you happy w/ what you did? Movin on down the road, GPSGary |
