Trailer Wiring
Kurt,
Thanks.
Trailer Plug...This came about because I wanted all 7 pins working in the receptacle. I used the original trailer receptacle. Only 3 of the original wires could be used, the L, LT, RT. All 7 wires could be run directly to the receptacle. I chose to use fuses and relays, mostly for the new wires I was adding. By wiring all the same way it eliminates confusion in the future if I have to dig back into the whole process. And I know the circuits are protected.
New Wire Loom Routing...The loom is inside and under the coach. Inside is run through the curb side lower elec. raceway. At the rear the loom crosses to the street side behind the fresh water tank, and goes down under the coach from the water pump/control area. At the front the loom goes down under just behind the co-pilot seat belt. and on over to the generator bay. Tom Warner suggests running the wires up from the engine bay into the rear closet, and use the upper wire runway to the front of the coach. Probable the better way to run the loom, unless you've modified your coch interior like I have.

Curt,
Looked at photos, Nice job! I am confused why did you have to make
an entire new set up for the trailer plug? Origonal wires not
fuctioning or not up to spec? I have been reading the posts and I
don't recall how this all came about.
I am also very interested in where you ran the new wire loom thru the
coach. I have been planning on this just to get more wires from the
dash to the engine compartment, for future potential up grades.
Thanks for your time
