Front Air Conditioner Drain problem
liz,the problem is this. the unit was designed so that the water would drain
onto the roof.but BB put a fitting in the roof just below the drain in the ac
unit, there is a 1'' or so gap between the unit and the roof that had a spongie
foam donut filling the gap.this foam donut shrinks with age and allows water to
leak onto your roof,it will also make the water run onto your floor or bed when
you drive it,something about the air blowing into the units drain so that it
blows out the unit into your coach..what i did to fix this problem was to cut a
piece of 1'' pvc pipe adout an inch long and force it under the unit, between the
unit and the bus roof, then i glued it in with some silicone sealer..i got on the
roof, measured the gap,had my helper cut the pvc and i put it in.on my coach
there are 2 drains per unit,so 6 pieces of pipe was required..randydupree93wb

Howdy, Y'all.

We live in our 1993 Wanderlodge. The condescent(sp?) from the front
air conditioner is not going down the drainage tubes but is running
across the roof and draining down the side of the coach. Jack has
blown the tubes out with compressed air, he can pour water straight
down the tubes and it flows into the bucket I have set on the ground.
He has put those small chlorine tables in the drain tray to have a
clorine solution going down the tubes to take care of any crud
growing in them. Jack is out of solutions. Please help us solve this
problem.

Thanks,
Jack and Liz
