If you would please, and how thick is the wood. The prototype movements will include face mounts and rear mounts. I am just jacking around with them to see where they can be used, tables, walls and in the home. NO. It is recessed into the bird body. I have one that I can trace for you in a few days if that would help. Joe Losh in the Lone Star Birds has made some of these, so he might have exact dimensions.
