As well, the measurement of the minute and hour hands from the center point to the end of the hands. More questions. How thick is the wood on the original clock. Thanks. It will accept a 2 3/4" to 3" quality quartz movement in the wing. My prototype is made from white pine and the original will be blonde. I plan to make 7 prototypes to see what I can do with them. I will use red oak on others and I plan to prime, base coat and clear coat some of the pine to see what happens. I don't have anything else to do. Colors I am considering are rose,lagoon, black, red and blue. I may air brush one in a bluebird style and see how that goes. I would clear coat that one. I would like to put a chime movement in one of them but it may need to be larger because of constraints in the size if available dials. All are being hand made. Thanks for any info.
