I don't believe my bird has a "soul", but she definitely has character - and, yes, I use female pronouns to refer to her when I'm not calling her "it". ![]() As for why, I don't really know. Any other way just seems wrong. I think it's a masculine thing. I spend a lot of time inside her. Just wouldn't seem right to call her "he".
