Battery recommendation
We are 5 years into the Trojan T-105s. There is only one setused for both starting and house batteries. We mostly dry camp and operate in coldweather a lot. (we are in Benkelman NE right now) I first put Exide batteriesin it from SAMS but only got about 18 months out of them for our kind of use, but others have reported good service. Which ever brand you decide on make sure your chargers are operating correctly, it makes a big difference! I have a battery cut off switch and do not leave the chargers on when in storage. If the BB is in storage for over six weeks I will turn the charger on and let it go through one cycle.

I have to replace my 4 - 12 volt marine deep cycle batteries with something that fits in the same space. Anyone had REALLY good experience in performance for the $$$ on any specific model and brand? I'd prefer not to get into the exotics, but will listen if you have a compelling arguement. Regards, G{SGary 1984FC35 |
