Winter Fuel CockTail?
Bill,
In my 78, which i sold, all I did was put in some anti-gel stuff and drove it long enough to mix it up and pull it through the filters. I had a gas generator on that coach. This year I added a gallon of anti gel stuff that claims to be good for 300 gallons of fuel. I drove it to mix it up and ran the diesel generator during the ride as well. One time I took my '78 on a December trip and woke up to 14 degree weather. It was tough to start, put out a white cloud that could have hidden the entire Naval fleet during an invasion, but ran fine once warmed up. It also depends on weather the last time you fueled up if the station had winter blend in the tanks. I don't know when they start supplying that, I guess it depends on the state.
