changing gen diesel filters
the injectors are cooled with diesel so the pump will put out more
than the fire needs. if it wont start right off after you remount a filter, crack the lines at the injectors. turn it over untill it messes up and sprays no air than snug them and start. with it running, crack one open at a time and tighten it for good. if the genset is way dry it wont hurt to presoak the fuel line atop of the injector with a bit of PBblaster overnight. I presoak all projects so I wont be able to tell you if it helps. I add a mix of 50/50 diesel/atf in the filter to clean the injectors. I dont like to put injector cleaner solvents in the tank in fear that it will clean the tank pushing crap at the filter.
