Bill somewhere in the recesses of my mind I recall something about the length of the wire being important. Thiswas in connection with the install of an oil temperature sending unit. If I recall correctly the instructions said not to shorten the wire. Not sure if this applies to a pyrometer.

I have been trying to find some info on the pyrometer circuit. The question I have is:
Is the length of wire predetermined on this gauge?
